Ramdev’s property worth over 17 billion.

   

It has been found that the total property of Swami Ramdev, who is currently in a hunger-strike against the growing corruption in India, is worth over IRs 11 billion (17 billion NRs).

Ramdev’s aide Acharya Bal Krishna publicized the property evaluation on Thursday in a press conference after some of the leaders raised questions about Swami Ramdev’s properties. The leaders have already deployed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to investigate upon the matter, Indian media confirmed.

Ramdev, who was taken to Haridwar from Ramleela Ground in New Delhi on Saturday by the police in an attempt to suppress his hunger-strike, has been in the mission for six days now. He has demanded for strict laws against corruption and also for the return of all the ‘black money’ that is around the world.

“We believe in transparencies. All our properties have been closely inspected,” Ramdev’s aide Acharya said. According to him, their charity is renewed every two years after close inspections by the government.
